What You’ll Do

Provide comprehensive care to adults with acute and chronic conditions all while promoting wellness, preventive health, and patient education.
Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
Perform in‑office procedures, prescribe medications, and interpret/manage diagnostic results.
Participate in quality initiatives and team‑based improvement efforts.
Respond to urgent situations and support patient safety.
Ensure strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and all Inter Med policies.
Carry out additional responsibilities aligned with Inter Med’s mission, vision, and values.

What You Bring

2+ Years of experience post‑graduation from accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN – Master of Science in Nursing, DNP – Doctor of Nursing Practice) or Physician Assistant program (MPAS – Master of Physician Assistant Studies, MSPA – Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, MHS – Master of Health Science (PA))
Active or pending, unencumbered licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Maine
Board Certification
Active or pending DEA Certification in the state of Maine
Active BLS certification
Maintain continuing education appropriate for scope of practice and licensure
