Job Title
Neonatology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (NP)
Job OverviewWe are seeking a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum tenens support, commencing ASAP.
Schedule and LocationSchedule:
August 2026 – July 2027, 12‑hour shifts (days and/or nights).
Location:
Portland, OR.
Inpatient neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
Scope of Practice and Cases- High‑risk deliveries
- Full neonatal procedures: intubation, lumbar puncture, venipuncture, arterial puncture, umbilical line placement, thoracentesis, thoracostomy
- Neonatal resuscitation
- Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or equivalent NP credential
- Basic Life Support certification
- Willingness to obtain licensure (credentialing timeframe 60–120 days)
- Experience with neonatal intensive care
Pay: $97.00 – $105.00 per hour.
