For a limited time Maine Health is offering sign on bonuses for Clinical Nursing Assistants (CNA): 0-1 years of experience eligible for $2,500 (full time) 1+ years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full time) Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time CNA position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible. Current Maine Health member employees are ineligible;
former Maine Health Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
The ideal candidate will have total comfortability communicating with nurses and clinical staff, as well as using technology.
This position is sedentary in nature, with the main function being to monitor patients virtually.
This position has an on-site requirement, with no opportunity for remote or hybrid work schedule. The term "remote visual monitoring system" refers to systems used to monitor patients remotely from an on-site office location.
Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant Companion
- Telesitter role uses the remote visual monitoring system to observe patients and provide supervision for safety related reasons.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
- Education:
Completion of a Maine approved CNA program or documentation of other equivalent training required. - License/
Certifications:
Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. - Experience:
