Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
The shift will be from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with some weekends or call required. Weekly guaranteed hours are 36.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room. The nurse will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, assisting with various surgical procedures including ENT, dental, plastics, pediatrics, trauma, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons during operations.
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide post-operative care.
- Administer medications and perform other nursing duties as required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in the Operating Room.
- Travel experience preferred.
- Must possess a valid RN license.
- BLS certification required; PALS and AORN certifications preferred.
