Operating Room Registered Nurse - Vascular and Plastics Specialty

Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule:

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, averaging 36 weekly hours, with rotating weekend and call requirements.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse with strong experience in vascular surgery, including both open and endovascular cases, as well as plastics cases. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality surgical care in the operating room.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in surgical procedures including vascular and plastics cases.
• Manage patient care preoperatively, intraoperatively, and postoperatively.
• Provide comprehensive assessments and interventions tailored to patient needs.
• Participate in call rotation as required, with weekend call averaging 1:5.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting, with specific experience in vascular and plastics surgery.
• Current RN license and BLS certification required; CNOR preferred.
• Experience with Level 1 trauma cases is highly preferred.
