Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse

We are seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our treatment team. This role involves dispensing prescribed medications in collaboration with Physicians and Nursing Supervisors while maintaining a supportive and non-judgmental attitude toward patients with Substance Use Disorders.

• Administer daily medication to patients according to program policies and medical protocols.
• Utilize automated dispensing systems, calibrate pumps, and maintain dispensing equipment.
• Produce and maintain necessary records and reports in compliance with company protocols, Federal, and State regulations.
• Ensure compliance with security standards for the distribution and storage of controlled substances as per regulatory guidelines.
• Order, receive, and stock medications in alignment with DEA and State regulations (if granted Power of Attorney).
• Conduct daily assessments of patients.
• Assist Nursing Supervisor in orienting new nursing staff.
• Perform other related duties as determined by supervisory staff.

Please note that this position is within an Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) clinic.

• Minimum of 1 year of medication administration experience.
• Experience in an opioid addiction center is highly preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Completion of a skills checklist.
• Submission of two supervisory reference forms.
