LVN​/LPN – Ambulatory Care​/Clinic​/Outpatient

Job Summary:

Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients in an outpatient clinic setting. Assist in medication dispensing, patient assessments, and support the treatment team to ensure quality care delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Administer daily medications to patients following program policies and medical protocols.
• Operate and maintain automated dispensing systems, calibrate pumps, and ensure proper functioning of dispensing equipment.
• Document and prepare accurate records and reports in compliance with Federal and State regulations.
• Ensure secure storage and distribution of controlled substances in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct daily patient assessments and assist Nursing Supervisors with orienting new staff.
• Collaborate with supervisory counseling staff and contribute to a non-judgmental, accepting environment for patients with Substance Use Disorder.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active State License as an LVN or LPN.
• Possess at least 1 year of medication administration experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in opioid addiction treatment center procedures.
• Be BLS certified.
• Have strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Ability to work cooperatively within a multidisciplinary team.
