Job Summary:
Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients in an outpatient clinic setting. Assist in medication dispensing, patient assessments, and support the treatment team to ensure quality care delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Administer daily medications to patients following program policies and medical protocols.
- Operate and maintain automated dispensing systems, calibrate pumps, and ensure proper functioning of dispensing equipment.
- Document and prepare accurate records and reports in compliance with Federal and State regulations.
- Ensure secure storage and distribution of controlled substances in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct daily patient assessments and assist Nursing Supervisors with orienting new staff.
- Collaborate with supervisory counseling staff and contribute to a non-judgmental, accepting environment for patients with Substance Use Disorder.
Qualifications:
- Hold an active State License as an LVN or LPN.
- Possess at least 1 year of medication administration experience.
- Demonstrate proficiency in opioid addiction treatment center procedures.
- Be BLS certified.
- Have strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work cooperatively within a multidisciplinary team.
