We are looking for a relational, student-centered Coordinator of Graduate Nursing Education to join our team. In this role, you will be the heart of our Nurse Practitioner (NP) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) programs, working hand-in-hand with our Graduate Faculty Director, faculty members, and administrative staff. You will build meaningful connections, foster a welcoming community, and ensure our students and educators feel fully supported every step of the way.
Key responsibilities include:
- Tracking admissions and progression data for our Master of Science in Nursing and DNP programs.
- Securing clinical placements and preceptors for advanced practice nurse practitioner students (ARNP) and DNP students.
- Providing graduate student advising and support in collaboration with faculty.
- Assisting with course scheduling for the graduation program (MSN/DNP.)
- Coordinate, review, and revise course catalog content for updates.
- Supporting grant application efforts.
- Managing ARNP student certification application processes.
- Respond to prospective student inquiries about our graduate nursing programs.
- Overseeing document and database systems using multiple electronic platforms required by accreditation and approval agencies.
- Assist Graduate Nursing Faculty Director with special projects and additional duties as agreed upon.
- Collaborate with internal and external individuals and teams to support our School of Nursing mission to advance the health and well-being of the community through the education of compassionate and competent nurses, prepared for the challenges of 21st century nursing practice.
Pay and Benefits
This is a full-time, in-person position based on our Portland Campus. This position offers an annual salary of $46,800.00.
