LPN/LVN – MEDICATION DISPENSING
POSITION OVERVIEW:

Seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to administer prescribed medications as part of a collaborative treatment team. The ideal candidate is empathetic, non-judgmental, and comfortable working with patients receiving treatment for Substance Use Disorder.

• Administer daily medications according to established medical protocols and program policies.
• Operate automated medication dispensing systems and maintain dispensing equipment.
• Maintain accurate patient records, reports, and medication documentation.
• Follow all security requirements for the storage and distribution of controlled substances.
• Order, receive, and stock medications in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Perform daily patient assessments.
• Assist with orientation and training of new nursing staff.
• Perform other nursing duties as assigned.

• 1+ year of medication administration experience – Required.
• Opioid Addiction Center/OTP experience – Highly Preferred.
• BLS – Required.
• Active Maine LPN/LVN license.
• Compact license accepted.
