Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN Clinic

Position Overview:

Seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide medication administration as part of a collaborative treatment team. The LPN will work alongside physicians, nursing leadership, and counseling staff to support patient care while maintaining accurate medication and treatment records.

The ideal candidate demonstrates a professional, non-judgmental, and accepting approach when caring for patients with substance use disorders.

Schedule Details:

• Shift Type: Days.
• Shift Time: 5:30 AM – 1:30 PM.
• Hours/Day: 8 hours.

• Administer daily medications to patients in accordance with established policies, medical protocols, and treatment plans.
• Operate automated medication dispensing systems and maintain dispensing equipment.
• Calibrate pumps and ensure dispensing equipment remains properly maintained.
• Maintain accurate patient records, medication records, and required reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations regarding the distribution and storage of controlled substances.
• Order, receive, and maintain medication inventory in accordance with applicable DEA and state regulations, when authorized.
• Conduct daily patient assessments and report relevant treatment information.
• Assist with the orientation and training of new nursing staff.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing supervisors, counselors, and other members of the treatment team.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• 1+ year of medication administration experience – Required.
• BLS – Required.
• Active Maine LPN License – Required.
• Opioid addiction treatment/center experience – Highly Preferred.
• Skills Checklist – Required.
