We’re looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to step into the Interim Clinical Charge Nurse role within our Provider Professional Clinic. This is a leadership position for a clinician who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable making sound decisions under pressure, and genuinely enjoys supporting and developing the people around them. When the Clinical Nursing Supervisor is unavailable, you’re the one keeping operations running smoothly;

from staffing and patient flow to conflict resolution and quality care.

• Serve as the PPC lead in the absence of the Clinical Nursing Supervisor, overseeing daily operations, staffing assignments, and patient flow.
• Perform all duties of the infusion nurse, pod nurse, Pre-Office Visit Review, and clinic nurse roles as needed.
• Facilitate daily huddles and keep the team aligned, informed, and focused.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and professional development of new nursing staff.
• Conduct monthly chart audits of PPC nursing staff and assist with annual MIPS reporting.
• Serve as the first resource for staff on conflict resolution involving patients, staff, equipment, or supplies.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Nursing Supervisor on process improvement initiatives and workflow standardization.
• Run reports in EPIC and gGastro to support clinic operations.
• Assist with PGC/PGA scheduling, supply and equipment inventory, sample coordination, and vendor relations.
• Support coordination of medical student and resident schedules.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, clinical leadership, and the broader PPC team.
• Participate in committees, policy development, and approved professional development activities.

• Active Maine Registered Nursing (RN) license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of related clinical experience required.
• Prior charge nurse or clinical leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with EPIC and/or gGastro (Mod Med) a plus.
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to make calm, rational decisions in complex or urgent situations.
• Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to support, guide, and motivate a team.
• Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
