We are a large and growing emergency and specialty hospital located in beautiful Portland, Maine
. Our facility is home to board-certified experts in Surgery, Emergency & Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Cardiology, and Dermatology
.

• Accurately draw up, calculate, and administer medications
  , maintaining patient safety
• Utilize and maintain all monitoring equipment and troubleshoot when needed
• Perform daily and weekly maintenance of anesthesia and imaging equipment
• Coordinate daily procedures across all departments
• Uphold standards related to safety, infection control, and OSHA protocols
• Serve as a patient advocate
  , maintaining accurate treatment and anesthesia records

This is a full-time position with the following schedule:

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM

• Starting at $22/hr

• 1–2 years of experience in a veterinary setting preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• Basic knowledge of veterinary terminology and safety protocols
• Ability to lift and assist patients (up to 45 lbs)
• Positive attitude and a team-first mindset
