Anticipated ScheduleThis is a full-time position
- Tuesday–Friday: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Some holidays are required
- Starting at $22-34/hour

PVESC is looking for a skilled and compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team focused on dentistry and oral health care. If you love veterinary dentistry and want to make a meaningful impact on patient care in a collaborative, supportive environment, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Do- Assist veterinarians during dental procedures, including routine cleanings, periodontal therapy, and extractions.
- Support advanced dental procedures such as assisting with root canal therapy and periodontal flap surgeries.
- Perform dental radiography to assess oral health and help plan treatments.
- Prepare patients and dental equipment, ensuring safety, sterility, and proper setup.
- Monitor anesthesia and vital signs throughout dental and surgical procedures.
- Assist with advanced periodontal procedures such as gingival flap access and deep scaling.
- Assist during more complex oral procedures when directed by the veterinarian, including bone contouring support, surgical extractions, oral tumor removals, and jaw fracture repairs.
- Educate clients about oral health care, post‑procedure instructions, and preventive strategies.
- Current Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential in good standing.
- Experience assisting with veterinary dentistry preferred.
- Strong skills in anesthesia monitoring, patient handling, clinical support, and dental imaging.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced clinical setting and collaborate as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills with team members and pet owners.
