2nd Shift QA Technician – Ensure Quality for a Specialty Food Manufacturer! Pay Rate: $21–$23/hr

We have an immediate opening for a 2nd Shift QA Technician to join our client’s growing team in Portland!

• Perform sensory and analytical testing on ingredients and product samples; record and analyze results.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, SQF, and other quality standards.
• Manage daily product controls and sample retention systems.
• Support production with product holds and releases.
• Complete administrative tasks such as data entry (Excel/TGI), equipment calibration, label verification, and organizing samples for external testing.
• Follow GMP, GFSI, and HACCP protocols in all daily activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry (preferred).
• 1–3 years of food industry experience in QA, Operations, food safety, and food science (preferred).
• Knowledge of food manufacturing, QA systems, HACCP, SQF, sanitation, allergens, label laws, and GMPs (strongly preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, organization, and computer skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to multitask, stay detail‑oriented, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
