** Quality Assurance Lab Technician
** for a well-known Maine  
** client
* * with strong local roots and a reputation for quality. This position offers  **$24-$28/hour
** and is a

** full-time opportunity
** on a steady overnight schedule.

** Typical daily duties:*
* - Testing incoming and outgoing products for compliance with standards

- Performing bacteriological, chemical, and physical tests on goods

- Auditing facility and verifying cleanliness of equipment

- Conducting product sampling at various points through the supply chain

- Troubleshooting quality issues with Production and Quality personnel

* What we're looking for:

*
* - Associate degree (or higher) in Dairy Science, Food Science, Biological Science, or a related field

- Experience with compound light microscopy and/or prior lab or QA experience

- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
