Research Associate III

Wrote and amended laboratory SOPs and IACUC-approved protocols (controlling in-vivo experiments). Performed experiments ranging from in-vivo imaging, to tissue staining, to in-vitro assays to advance understanding of metabolic measures in bone formation and degradation. Simultaneously balanced lab management tasks including ordering and maintaining supplies, managing transgenic mouse colonies, and ensuring consistent laboratory safety and cGLP standards.

Associate Scientist II, In Vivo Pharmacology

Planned and executed in-vivo PK/PD experiments to advance novel gene editing therapies from pre-clinical rodent models to successful IND filing. Worked within a small team to manage overlapping studies across diverse target areas (CNS disorders, liver disease, etc.) Maintained electronic lab notebook, ensured data integrity, and prepared figures and Power Points for company dissemination.

Associate Scientist

Designed and executed experiments to evaluate and optimize unique gene therapy delivery platform from early R&D to in-vivo rodent studies. Performed in-vivo experiments in mice including dosing and tissue collection in compliance with governing bodies. Executed in-vitro and molecular biology experiments including cell culture and transfection, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry maintaining appropriate safety and sterility standards. Prepared data slide decks, maintained electronic lab notebook, and analyzed data using Graph Pad Prism and other applications.

Research Technician

Ran in-vivo behavioral and neuroimaging studies in mice, performed stereotaxic surgeries including cranial viral injections and implants of cranial windows. Collected, processed, and imaged brain tissue (episcope, confocal microscopy). Wrote and amended IACUC-approved protocols and lab SOPs. Managed and maintained a large mouse colony of transgenic strains and crosses.
