What You’ll DoAs a Marketing Consultant, you’ll develop and manage customized multimedia marketing campaigns for local and regional businesses.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Prospecting through cold calling, networking, and community engagement
- Conducting in‑depth client needs analyses
- Developing strategic, results‑driven marketing proposals
- Presenting to business owners and key decision‑makers
- Managing and growing client relationships
- Tracking sales metrics and meeting/exceeding revenue goals
- Attending station events to strengthen brand presence and community ties
- Strong sales, communication, and relationship‑building skills
- Proven ability to prospect, generate leads, and close new business
- Excellent listening skills with a consultative sales mindset
- Goal‑oriented, competitive, and self‑motivated
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills
- Ability to analyze financial and sales data
- Creative thinker who can present ideas clearly and persuasively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Experience in traditional and/or digital media sales is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; however, proven sales performance and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
