HP Retail Sales Representative

Overview

Regular part‑time work as an HP Retail Sales Associate at Best Buy 531 in South Portland, ME (04106).Pay: $18.50 per hour, up to 15 hours per week. Saturday and Sunday are preferred; flexible Fridays as needed.

• Demonstrate HP products to customers and tailor demos to meet their needs.
• Build rapport with customers and maintain professional relationships with store management and staff.
• Engage customers to create a memorable experience.
• Train store associates on HP products and services.
• Maintain displays for cleanliness, functionality, and demo readiness.
• Report sales activity and competitive insights to Retail Operations.
• Meet or exceed personal monthly sales goals.
• Assist customers by escorting them to displays and recommending products.
• Provide information on products and services to advise customers.
• Accurately document and report sales.
• Keep workstation or kiosk clean, well‑organized, functional, and presentable.
• Submit all required paperwork completely and accurately.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of sales, retail, telecom, or marketing experience.
• Minimum one year of overall job experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team‑based environment.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to maintain customer confidentiality.
• Problem‑solving, tech‑savvy enthusiasm.
• Outgoing personality with eagerness to learn.
• Comfortable engaging customers and demonstrating products.
• Ability to overcome objections and connect with customer needs.
• Retail or customer service experience in electronics, technology, or wireless is a plus.
• Training or product demonstration experience is a plus.
