Job Description & How to Apply Below

Orange Bike Brewing Company is not your typical brewery. We are a social enterprise with a triple bottom line:
People, Planet, and Profit. We brew world‑class, naturally gluten‑free beer and build our company with purpose and love. We are part of a movement we call “For Profit – For Good” – using beer as a bridge to create community, sustainability, and opportunity.

Our wholesale operation is the engine that takes the OBB mission beyond 31 Diamond Street and into grocery stores, restaurants, bars, and communities across Maine. We self‑distribute – which means our Maine Territory Account Manager isn’t just selling beer. They are the face of OBB in the field. Every handshake, every sample poured, every account opened is an act of brand‑building and community‑making.

We are looking for someone who understands that. If you’re looking for a sales quota and a commission check, this might not be the right fit. If you’re looking for a mission with real traction and a brand that Maine is starting to love – read on.

Responsibilities Territory Development & Account Management
  • Build, grow, and manage relationships with retail, restaurant, and bar accounts across your assigned Maine territory.
  • Identify, pitch, and open new wholesale accounts that are value‑aligned with OBB’s mission and product positioning.
  • Maintain a deep working knowledge of each account – their buyers, their customers, their shelf, and their opportunities.
  • Execute account visits with intention: bring samples, share data, solve problems, and leave every account better than you found it.
Brand Representation & Storytelling
  • Act as the face of Orange Bike in the field – representing our story, our beer, and our values with professionalism and genuine passion.
  • Deliver product samples and education that makes the gluten‑free difference tangible and compelling to buyers and consumers alike.
  • Support in‑store activations, beer tastings, community events, and partner initiatives that deepen OBB’s presence in your territory.
  • Serve as a field intelligence asset: report back what you’re seeing, hearing, and learning from the market.
Operations & Collaboration
  • Coordinate with our delivery and logistics team to ensure accounts are stocked, rotated, and merchandised to OBB standards.
  • Use our CRM to track account activity, pipeline, and outcomes – because what gets measured gets managed.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team on wholesale strategy, territory expansion, and account prioritization.
  • Uphold OBB’s self‑distribution standards with the same care and precision you’d want in a distributor partner.
Working Conditions
  • Uphold and embody OBB’s core values in every interaction – inside the brewery and out.
  • Foster inclusive, respectful relationships with accounts and communities that reflect who OBB is and who we’re building for.
  • Champion OBB’s environmental and social commitments with authenticity – not as a talking point, but as a way of showing up.
  • Develop and strengthen OBB’s community relationships in your territory through genuine presence and partnership.
What Success Looks Like

Accounts – Your territory grows month over month, not because you pushed, but because accounts trust you and want more OBB on their shelf.

Brand – Every buyer in your territory knows who OBB is, what we stand for, and why it matters. You’ve made the brand real to them.

Intelligence – Leadership has a clear picture of what’s happening in the market because you’re reporting back what you’re seeing – opportunities, competitive moves, account health.

Team – The people you work alongside – delivery, marketing, brewing – feel supported by you and proud to share a team with you.

Mission – You feel challenged, inspired, and genuinely proud of what you’re building. This isn’t just a sales job to you; it’s a contribution.

About You
  • 2+ years in field sales, account management, or a customer‑facing leadership role.
  • Craft brewery, craft beverage, or consumer goods experience preferred – but not required if you’re willing to learn fast and love the industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain long‑term account relationships, not just open and move on.
  • Strong independent work ethic – you manage your…
