Pro Info Net seeking a motivated and relationship-focused Sales Development Representative to help identify and develop new business opportunities. This role focuses on researching prospective clients, initiating outreach, understanding potential needs, and connecting qualified prospects with Pro Info Net ’s sales leaders and subject-matter experts.
The ideal candidate is curious, persistent, and comfortable starting conversations with business leaders. They enjoy research, personalized outreach, and building the front end of a strong sales pipeline.
This position is based out of our Portland, Maine office and requires occasional travel for client meetings, conferences, networking events, and other business activities.
What You’ll Do- Research and prioritize prospective organizations that align with Pro Info Net ’s target markets
- Identify appropriate decision-makers and influencers within prospective client organizations
- Conduct outreach through phone, email, Linked In, events, referrals, and other approved channels
- Develop personalized messaging based on each organization’s needs and relevant business developments
- Conduct initial discovery to evaluate needs, timing, and potential alignment with Pro Info Net ’s services
- Schedule qualified introductory meetings with sales leaders, consultants, and subject-matter experts
- Prepare meeting briefs and coordinate clear handoffs for qualified opportunities
- Maintain accurate account, contact, outreach, and qualification information in the CRM
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to improve targeting, messaging, and outreach strategies
- Track activity and conversion results while sharing market feedback and emerging opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
- Previous experience or demonstrated interest in sales, business development, customer service, recruiting, fundraising, marketing, or professional outreach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong research, organization, and critical-thinking skills
- Confidence and professionalism when initiating conversations with business leaders
