Full-Time (Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Join a vibrant hospitality team as a Maintenance Technician in Portland, Maine, and contribute to creating a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, functionality, and safety of multiple hotel properties. Working closely with hotel leadership and your team, you'll perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks that keep the hotels running smoothly and efficiently.

What You'll Do As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance across hotel facilities Completing minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting repairs Replacing HVAC filters and assisting with HVAC and air conditioning system upkeep Maintaining boilers, cooling towers, and swimming pool equipment as needed Responding promptly and professionally to guest maintenance requests Maintaining hotel grounds and public areas, ensuring cleanliness and safety Accurately completing work orders and documentation Following all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a secure working environment Supporting additional maintenance tasks as assigned by management

What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:
General maintenance experience and familiarity with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to safely operate hand and power tools Excellent customer service and communication abilities Reliable transportation to get to work reliably Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied schedules as needed Hotel maintenance experience preferred High school diploma or equivalent preferred CPR and First Aid certification preferred (not mandatory)
