Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Installation Technician
• Respond to and resolve equipment breakdowns quickly and efficiently
• Perform electrical, electronic, and mechanical repairs
• Execute and support preventative maintenance programs
• Troubleshoot equipment issues across hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic systems
• Read and interpret electrical, electronic, and mechanical schematics
• Log all maintenance and repair activity in SAP-PM
• Communicate equipment status clearly to production supervision
• Support continuous improvement initiatives including leak detection, safety items, and 5S
• Maintain highly automated Gas Spring production equipment at peak performance
- Associate's Degree in Electronics, Mechanical, or military equivalent — OR minimum 10 years of industrial maintenance experience
- 2–5 years of hands‑on experience in electronics, mechanical, or military fields
- Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Proficient with measuring tools (voltmeter, calipers, micrometers, dial indicators)
- Working knowledge of SAP-PM and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and lead others when needed
- Flexible to accommodate schedule changes based on business needs
- Follow all applicable safety, environmental, and electrical codes
Demonstrates expertise in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, while effectively utilizing SAP-PM for maintenance logging. Capable of executing preventative maintenance and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a highly automated production environment.
