About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Micropile Drill Operator to join our deep foundation and geotechnical construction team. The ideal candidate will safely and efficiently operate all our micropile drilling equipment on a variety of commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities- Operate micropile drilling rigs and related equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform drilling operations in accordance with project plans and specifications
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance
- Read and interpret drilling plans, logs, and job specifications
Coordinate with foremen, engineers, and crew members on-site - Maintain accurate drilling logs and production records
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
- Assist with mobilization, setup, and demobilization of drilling equipment
- Troubleshoot, and communicate drilling challenges related to soil, rock, and site conditions
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience operating micropile or foundation drilling equipment
- Strong understanding of geotechnical drilling methods and tooling
- Familiar with Klemm and TEI excavator mounted drill micropile equipment
- Ability to work in confined spaces and challenging outdoor site conditions
- Valid driver’s license
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor equipment repairs
- Willingness to travel extensively and work extended hours as required
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Experience with limited-access or low-headroom rigs including Commachio, Klemm, TEI excavator mounted drill rig
- Knowledge of grout mixing and pumping systems
- Experience drilling in hard rock and variable soil conditions
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
