Signage Installation Manager

A well-established and growing company specializing in commercial signage, environmental graphics, large-format graphics, and experiential installations is looking to add an experienced Signage Installation Manager to their team! This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on installation professional who is ready to take the next step into department leadership.

This position will be responsible for overseeing installation crews, scheduling, project readiness, logistics, equipment, quality control, safety, and team development. The ideal candidate understands what it takes to execute complex commercial installations and can provide hands‑on field leadership when needed, while primarily focusing on the performance and development of the entire installation team. • 5+ years of experience in commercial signage installation, large-format graphics, vinyl application, environmental graphics, experiential installations, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience managing installation crews, scheduling work, training employees, and holding team members accountable.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of vinyl application, signage installation, mounting methods, hardware, lifts, access requirements, and jobsite planning.
• Proven ability to manage multiple crews and projects while balancing changing priorities and staffing needs.
• Experience conducting site surveys, field measurements, access reviews, and interpreting installation drawings, plans, and project information.
• Strong understanding of installation logistics, including crew assignments, vehicles, equipment, materials, tools, loading, transportation, and jobsite readiness.
• Ability to establish and maintain installation standards, checklists, quality‑control procedures, and safety practices.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, coach, develop, and hold installation team members accountable.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with Project Management, Production, Fabrication, Purchasing, Design, and other internal teams.
• Experience with complex commercial signage, environmental branding, large-format graphics, or high‑visibility installations is highly preferred.
• Avery, 3M, or similar graphics installation certification is a plus.
• OSHA 10 certification and lift/operator certifications are preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain/maintain required medical or DOT qualifications as applicable.
• Willingness to travel for select projects and work occasional nights or weekends based on project requirements.
• Ability to work comfortably at elevation and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to remain calm and solutions‑oriented in fast‑paced environments.
