Journeymen Electrician

job description

we are looking for journeyman & master electricians for residential & commercial projects.

this individual will be honest, punctual and looking to make a difference; must be able to work independently and in a team environment; be able to take direction; and work in a drama free enviroment.

responsibilities

• install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with the national electrical code (nec).
• utilize hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, and ohmmeters to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues.
• read blueprints and schematics to determine wiring layouts and specifications.
• collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• provide expertise in both low and high voltage applications, adapting to both commercial and industrial environments.

qualifications

• proven experience as a journeyman electrician with a strong understanding of nec regulations
• proficient in using hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, and ohmmeters
• familiarity with low and high voltage systems
• experience in reading blueprints and schematics
• background in commercial and industrial electrical work
• knowledge of programmable logic controllers and renovation projects
• ability to work effectively on construction sites and frame carpentry tasks
