Summary

The Vocational Services Employment Specialist II role provides support to individuals with disabilities in jobs in their communities. This includes training individuals in job tasks, job coaching, assessing progress toward mastery, and developing goals and interventions to maximize independence. This is a per diem opportunity with an average of 12-16 hours/week.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education:

    HSD/HiSet required. Two years of college preferred.
  • License/

    Certifications:

    State of Maine's Job Coach Training required or achieved after hire. Valid Driver's License required.
  • Experience:

    One year experience working directly with individuals with disabilities required. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of Vocational Services
    - Employment Specialist I role.
  • Additional Skills/Requirements

    Required:

    Regional travel to multiple community locations to deliver services.
