Crisis Clinical Supervisor – Mobile Outreach Program

Location:

Portland, ME | Full‑time (40 hrs/week)

What You’ll Do
  • Provide clinical supervision and leadership to Mobile Crisis Workers and call specialists.
  • Support real‑time triage, consultation, and clinical decision‑making.
  • Coaching staff through complex cases, assessment, and intervention strategies.
  • Ensure high‑quality documentation, data reporting, and program oversight.
  • Lead training and staff development, from onboarding to ongoing skill‑building.
  • Partner with internal teams and community providers to ensure strong collaboration and responsiveness.
  • Promote a culture of communication, learning, and continuous improvement.
Schedule & Work Environment
  • Full‑time, 40 hrs/week. Schedule determined by program needs (at least one weekend day, occasional evenings).
  • Primarily in‑person (office and community‑based work), with potential for some remote tasks.
  • Occasional travel within Cumberland County as needed.
What We’re Looking For
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
  • Conditional or full clinical licensure required.
  • Strong clinical assessment, crisis intervention, and decision‑making skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities.
  • Interest or experience in people management.
  • Preferred:
    Supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Experience in crisis services or mobile outreach.
  • Familiarity with DSM criteria and multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings/weeksends.
  • Comfortable responding to high‑acuity situations and critical incidents.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems.
  • Valid driver’s license for occasional local travel.
  • Ability to pass required background checks.
