Job Overview

Operates company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages, verifies shipments for Fed Ex service conformity, provides customer service during all assigned routes within the station's service area, and performs other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or GED.

Six months of courier experience preferred; must demonstrate knowledge of assigned area.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred.
• Demonstrated adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Neat appearance required; must meet federal motor carrier safety regulations; medical exam required per FMCSA or FAA regulations; must maintain a valid driver's license per state requirements; good driving record; not a safety-sensitive position; must work with constant alertness and safety.

Starting pay $23.52 per hour; schedule Monday–Friday, various hours.
