Shuttle Driver; Non-CDL

• Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of bus interiors, fuel buses, log trip counts, and assist disabled passengers.
• Be punctual and present for every scheduled workday, in uniform.
• Possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license to be carried while on duty.
• Maintain an acceptable DMV record.
• Courteously assist customers by answering questions or directing them to the Facility Manager for further assistance.
• Report accidents, policy violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
• Communicate debris, water, oil spills, and similar issues to the garage office.
• Substitute for cashiers or valets when necessary and authorized.
• Have thorough knowledge of all garage areas and major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the area.
• Assist customers with luggage and other travel items, if applicable (e.g., operating shuttle buses at airport locations).
• Assist the Facility Manager with other duties as needed.

• Education/
  
  Experience:
  
  Less than high school education or one month of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• License: Must have and maintain a valid state driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
• DOT Medical Card: A Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.
• Availability to Work: Shift requirements vary by location; availability to work 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.

  Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to present information clearly in one-on-one situations.

  Ability to perform basic arithmetic with money and numbers as described in the posting.
• Appearance: Maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in full uniform at all times.
• Physical Demands: Regular standing, walking, and handling of cash and equipment; occasional sitting, climbing or balancing; ability to lift up to 75 pounds as needed.
• Salary: $22.00 per hour plus tips.
