Consonus Pharmacy is a closed-door long-term care pharmacy specializing in the needs of nursing facilities, assisted living residents, and their caregivers. We are currently hiring an Staff Accountant to join our team!

As the Staff Accountant you will work closely with a dedicated AR, AP and Payroll team to ensure the day-to-day activities of accounting functions are organized and operating appropriately. You will be monitoring and analyzing the departments work, and assist in developing more efficient procedures and use of resources, while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

In addition, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Assist in supervision of accounting staff comprised of AR, AP, and Payroll
• Assist in the preparation on monthly financial statements
• Maintain the integrity of the accounting systems and controls related to GL and the close process
• Reconcile general ledger accounts
• Prepare 1099s, property tax returns and sales tax returns in multiple states
• Analyze the financial statements and create management summaries monthly
• Work collaboratively with operations on organizations financial strategy
• Support the Controller with special projects and workflow process improvements
• Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of managing general ledgers and preparing financial statements
• Good communication skills for communicating with staff and management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good financial instincts
• 100% Onsite position
