Overview of the Junior Accountant role:

• Generating reports from the inventory tracking system.
• Reviewing shipments to ensure they meet revenue recognition criteria.
• Gathering documents, creating PDF packets, and preparing invoices in the system.
• Sending invoices to customers and researching payment discrepancies.
• Compiling documents for audits (internal and external).
• Assisting with tasks that involve understanding financial statements.
• The Junior Accountant will work closely with the Senior Accounting Manager, Senior Revenue Accountant, and Operations Controller to keep processes on track and help improve the accounting workflow.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Experience:
  
  1-2 years in accounting, bookkeeping, or similar role, or equivalent education and experience.

Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
• Accurate 10-key data entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and relationship-building skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Willing to suggest improvements to processes.

$55,000 - $60,000
