An established Portland-based organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations of its finance department. This position will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with monthly close, and ensuring the integrity of the general ledger.
Salary$65,000 to $75,000, depending on experience

- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Analyze account activity and investigate variances
- Support financial statement preparation and reporting
- Assist with audit requests and compliance activities
- Maintain accurate general ledger records
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations
- Proficiency in Excel and other accounting software
