Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
Job DetailsAs a Senior Tax Associate, you will play a key role on client engagements by:
- Preparing and reviewing federal and state income tax returns for:
- Individuals
- Partnerships and other pass-through entities
- Corporations
- Trusts and estates
- Preparing and reviewing property tax returns and other non-income tax filings
- Collaborating with tax team members to deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality work
- Building and maintaining professional relationships with clients
- Participating in training and development to deepen your understanding of tax law and its practical application
- 3+ years of recent public accounting tax experience
- Active CPA license or meaningful progress toward licensure
- Foundational knowledge of the Internal Revenue Code and Treasury Regulations
- Prior tax research experience
- Comfort working with multiple software platforms; experience with tools such as CCH Axcess Tax, Case Ware Engagement, Go File Room , BNA Income Tax Planner, and Microsoft Office is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Positive, professional communication style
- Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team-based environment
- Strong organizational, analytical, time management, and client service skills
- Ability to perform well under deadlines and during peak workload periods
