Financial Controller

G.A. Rogers is a Bend, OR based recruiting firm with an open search for an experienced Financial Controller for the manufacturing industry.

The role can be hybrid, based in Oregon, for up to one year with a relocation to Bend, Oregon needed within 12 months.

The ideal candidate will have a CPA or MBA with strong internal controls experience, people management experience, and a strong background in complex manufacturing industry accounting.

• Build, audit and maintain internal reporting tools in SAP
• Ensures accurate internal and external financial statements and presentations, reflecting the firm’s operations
• Ensures processes that substantiate financials are performed at a level to mitigate risk and satisfy an audit by an independent accounting firm
• Coordinates activities of external accounting auditors
• Structuring and maintaining managerial accounting practices and KPIs

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years experience as a Senior Accountant, Tax manager, Controller, or similar
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, reporting standards and ASC 606
• Experience in manufacturing and/or project-based accounting
• Has supervised audits conducted by a top 10 audit firm
• Firm understanding of financial and managerial accounting principles
• Experience architecting and implementing an ERP transformation a strong plus
• SAP fluency a strong advantage
