Located in Portland, Oregon
, this in-office role is the financial heartbeat of our operation. You’ll be:
Owning the full-cycle accounting for our construction projects
Managing accounts payable, receivable, job costing, WIP, and financial reconciliations
Generating accurate, well-formatted reports using Quick Books and other software tools
Supporting internal audits and monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes
Handling customer billing, collections, lien waivers, and vendor payments
Collaborating with project managers to ensure data accuracy and job profitability
Maintaining fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and cash flow monitoring

3 or more years of accounting experience in construction, plumbing, HVAC, or related skilled trades
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent hands‑on construction accounting experience
Strong understanding of job costing, project accounting, percent complete accounting, and WIP reporting
High proficiency in Quick Books and Microsoft Excel
Experience with document management systems such as Docu Ware
Familiarity with payroll platforms such as ADP and certified payroll reporting
Experience with progressive billing, retainage, and Schedule of Values
Experience handling lien waivers, notices, and collections follow-up
Experience managing weekly AR aging and accounts payable
Experience with job-based cost tracking and construction payment structures
Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and process discipline
