Accounts Receivable & Donor Services Specialist

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable & Donor Services Specialist to support daily cash processing, donor account maintenance, billing, and customer service functions. This role plays an important part in ensuring financial transactions are processed accurately while providing excellent support to both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and post daily cash receipts, ensuring payments are applied accurately.
  • Reconcile deposits and payment activity between bank records and internal systems.
  • Manage credit card payments and maintain donor and customer account records.
  • Prepare monthly statements, acknowledgments, and related correspondence.
  • Track designated donation programs and assist with reporting and reconciliations.
  • Generate invoices and support accounts receivable activities.
  • Research and resolve billing discrepancies and account inquiries.
  • Create and maintain vendor records within the accounting system.
  • Collaborate with internal departments regarding payment and account activity.
  • Provide professional customer service to donors, customers, and colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in accounts receivable, cash applications, billing, donor accounting, or a related accounting support role.
  • Proficiency processing financial transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Understanding of account reconciliations and financial record maintenance.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
