You’ll oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations while also supporting leadership with clear, reliable financial information.
Core Responsibilities- Manage daily accounting functions (AP, AR, general ledger, reconciliations).
- Oversee month‑end and year‑end close processes.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and reports.
- Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting.
- Maintain organized, audit‑ready financial records.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Partner with leadership to provide financial insights.
- Help track performance against budgets and goals.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
- Support department leaders with financial visibility.
- Accurate and timely monthly financial reporting.
- Strong control of accounts receivable and payable.
- Clear visibility into financial performance and cash flow.
- Organized, consistent, and reliable financial processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of accounting experience.
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Experience in construction, service, or project‑based accounting.
- Experience with Quick Books or similar accounting systems.
- Experience improving or building financial processes.
- Accountable and reliable — you take ownership of your work.
- Organized and detail‑oriented.
- Comfortable working in a structured, process‑driven environment.
- Clear communicator who can explain financials to non‑financial team members.
- Proactive problem‑solver.
