Your New Role

One of our favorite legal teams is growing their Accounting team! They’re in the market for an eagle-eyed and progressive-minded Accounting Manager to keep their finances in order.

Reporting to the Controller, you’ll oversee month‑end and year‑end close and timely, accurate financial reporting. The firm will rely on you to prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activity, including complex and non‑routine transactions.

You’ll also oversee bank, operating, and trust account reconciliations, and be a mentor for a couple of operational accounting team members.

Tax audits, tax preparation, payroll monitoring, and process improvement will also fall under your responsibility. Someone with a wide repertoire of accounting knowledge and an excellent work ethic will thrive in this role.

This is an in‑office role with flexibility for appointments and family needs.

Responsibilities
  • Manage month‑end and year‑end close and timely, accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activity, including complex and non‑routine transactions.
  • Oversee bank, operating, and trust account reconciliations.
  • Mentor operational accounting team members.
