Accounts Payable Specialist (260467) Job Summary

The Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist is a key contributor within the Accounts Payable department, responsible for supporting daily operations and ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. This role offers valuable exposure to various AP functions within the telecommunications industry. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of growing with evolving business needs. The AP Specialist reports directly to the AP Manager.

What

You Will Do
  • Process purchase order (PO) invoices and resolve discrepancies within accounting software
  • Manage and respond to emails in the AP inbox, including researching and resolving internal and external inquiries
  • Process monthly commissions and revenue share billing in Net Suite
  • Prepare and process weekly check and ACH payments from the Portland office, including payments related to unclaimed property, commissions, revenue share, taxes, business licenses, and other disbursements requiring supporting documentation
  • Review vendor statements, reconcile accounts, and communicate with vendors regarding outstanding or unresolved items

Other ad hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements
  • All levels of education are permitted to apply
  • 2-3 years of AP experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate verbally or non-verbally as issues arise
  • Aptitude to learn new applications quickly such as MS Office, accounting software, etc.
  • Ability to work efficiently while having a strong attention to detail with critical thinking and maintaining confidentiality
  • Self-motivated, both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to work from the office 2-3 days a week
  • Adapt to change as the Company grows

Pay

& Benefits Data
  • Minimum Salary: $42,000
  • Maximum Salary: $52,500

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
