Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Administrator to join their collaborative accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys high-volume AP work, thrives in a structured environment, and wants to be part of a positive, supportive team. You’ll start by owning statement reconciliations and quickly expand your responsibilities as you learn the company’s systems and processes.
Responsibilities- Perform vendor statement reconciliations and research discrepancies.
- Issue and process check payments.
- Review invoice information scanned into the accounting system for accuracy.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and payment documentation.
- Support month-end accounts payable activities.
- Assist the accounting team with additional administrative and AP-related projects as needed.
- Previous accounts payable or accounting support experience.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
- Ability to manage a high volume of work while maintaining accuracy.
- Reliable, dependable attendance.
- Comfortable working in Microsoft Excel for filtering, reviewing, and updating data.
- Experience with high-volume AP is highly preferred.
- Friendly, upbeat, and team-oriented accounting department.
- Casual business attire (jeans are welcome).
- Stable, collaborative team with opportunities to learn additional responsibilities.
- Monday-Friday schedule.
