Schedule: Generally 40-45 hours per week, with increased activity around reporting periods
A large, well-established organization is seeking a Senior Technical Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This is a highly visible role that serves as a key advisor on complex accounting matters and external financial reporting.
Reporting to the Technical Accounting leader, this position offers substantial exposure to senior finance leadership, cross-functional business partners, and external auditors.
If you have a public accounting foundation and enjoy technical accounting research, contract review, and external reporting, I'd welcome a conversation.
What You'll Do- Research and analyze complex accounting transactions under U.S. GAAP
- Review contracts and business arrangements to determine appropriate accounting treatment
- Prepare technical accounting memos and position papers
- Support quarterly and annual external financial reporting filings
- Assist with implementation and evaluation of new accounting standards
