Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a detail oriented and customer focused Accounts Receivable Specialist in the Portland area. This role is responsible for supporting the full accounts receivable cycle, maintaining accurate financial records, and partnering with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer invoices accurately and timely
• Monitor accounts to identify outstanding balances and collection opportunities
• Contact customers regarding past due invoices and payment arrangements
• Apply payments and reconcile customer accounts
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
• Prepare aging reports and assist with collection efforts
• Reconcile accounts receivable subledger to the general ledger
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
• Collaborate with accounting, sales, and customer service teams to resolve account issues
• Assist with month end close activities and reporting
• Support process improvement initiatives within the accounting department
