Staff Accountant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant in the Portland area. This role will support day to day accounting operations, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and month end close activities. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and eager to contribute to a collaborative finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries
• Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations
• Assist with month end and year end close activities
• Analyze financial data and investigate discrepancies
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and integrity
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed
• Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules
• Reconcile prepaid expenses, accruals, and fixed assets
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Support internal and external audit requests
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
