SCHEDULE: Full-Time | Direct Hire

- Lead and develop an accounting team while helping improve processes and financial systems.
- Put your construction accounting expertise to work across job costing, WIP, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Have an opportunity to make improvements and help build a stronger, more efficient accounting function.
- Oversee monthly close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting to ensure accurate and timely results.
- Manage key accounting functions including accounts payable, billing, cost accounting, WIP, job costing, and project financial reporting.
- Oversee accounting activities across multiple areas of the business and ensure accurate and consistent financial reporting.
- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members while improving processes, procedures, and internal controls.
- Partner with operational teams and leadership to provide financial insight into projects, profitability, forecasting, and business performance.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and other financial planning activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, systems, and automation.
- Strong construction accounting experience is required
, including job costing, WIP management, progress billing, and project-based financial reporting. - Experience working in a complex construction accounting environment with multiple projects and high transaction volume.
- Previous experience leading, mentoring, or developing accounting staff and improving accounting processes.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ability to partner with operational teams and clearly communicate financial information to leadership.
- Experience with construction accounting software and ERP systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, with at least five years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and professional training.
This position is primarily office-based and requires prolonged periods of sitting, computer use, and data entry. Occasional standing, walking, and light lifting of up to 15 pounds may be required during routine office activities or meetings.
