Title: Milieu Coordinator/ Receptionist

Location: Bear Lodge - 3636 NE Broadway Portland, OR 97232

Schedule: This is an in person position, Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Wage Range: $21.00 - $25.20 hourly, non-exempt

Position Overview

The Milieu Coordinator / Receptionist provides administrative support by greeting and directing clients, answering phones, and performing word processing and data entry as well as other duties as assigned.

What You Will Do

  • Provide client support as required.
  • Answer multi-line phone system, direct calls, take messages.
  • Schedule client appointments by maintaining schedules and calendars.
  • Sort, screen, and distribute incoming mail and process outgoing mail.
  • Facilitate client medication call, maintain all medication sheets, and document proper distribution of medications.
  • Perform typing assignments, data entry and general office support as assigned.
  • Coordinate the collection, filing, processing, maintenance, retrieval and distribution of medical records.
  • Provide administrative support to other Totem Lodge-based programs.
  • Covers front desk reception duties.
  • Notify counselors of client’s progress or problems.
  • Keep daily log of pertinent events.
  • Prepare files and intake packets for incoming clients.
  • Make appropriate referrals.
  • Orientate new clients to treatment – review client handbook with client
  • Maintain client confidentiality in conformance with the program guidelines and federal law.
