Lead Administrative Coordinator

Full‑time

The Lead Administrative Coordinator position provides office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks that support the effective and efficient operation of the clinic.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Coordinates the daily operations of administrative support staff. Ensures support staff provides quality customer service to all patients, visitors, or care partners.
  • Manages all front office duties, such as insurance authorization and billing, registering patients, answering phones, scheduling patient appointments, and maintaining the integrity of the patient database.
  • Manages provider schedules, works claim hold buckets, completes daily chart checks, and coordinates the payment of clinic bills.
  • Ensures payment for services by coordinating insurance benefits and complying with insurance regulations.
  • Ensures intake procedures are followed and completed by all staff.
  • Assists with enforcing policy compliance and policy changes.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • 2+ years of medical office experience strongly preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Basic proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
