On-Call Office Services Specialist (Floating) in Portland, Oregon. Join our team to provide hands‑on administrative support, mail & shipping, and workplace hospitality in a dynamic office environment.
The RoleAssist with a range of office services, ensuring efficient operations and a professional experience for guests and staff.
Responsibilities- Mail & Shipping Support:
Process and sort inbound/outbound mail and packages, maintaining accurate chain‑of‑custody and shipping procedures. - Print & Reprographics Assistance:
Support copy/print production, scanning, imaging, and binding services while ensuring equipment is stocked and functioning. - Office & Facility Support:
Maintain organized office spaces, restock supplies, support meeting room setups, and perform light maintenance tasks. - Front Desk & Guest Services:
Welcome visitors, manage calls and visitor logs, and provide a concierge‑style experience for clients and guests. - Administrative & Client Support:
Provide general administrative assistance while delivering exceptional customer service and building strong professional relationships.
- Strong communication and customer service skills; professional interaction with clients, guests, and team members.
- Proficiency in MS Office and office technology, including knowledge of multi‑function devices.
- Highly organized, able to multitask, manage time effectively, and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to work independently, follow shipping/receiving procedures, and proactively seek additional tasks.
- High school diploma (or equivalent) required; 6+ months of work experience preferred; strong problem‑solving skills and adherence to company policies.
- Approximately 50% of the time this position requires handling 25 lbs. individually and 50 lbs. with assistance, walking, bending, kneeling, standing, and/or sitting for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity for operating office machinery, ladders, and binding equipment.
- Vision requirements include close and distance vision, ability to adjust focus, and discern color differences.
- Travel is essential; must have reliable transportation.
- Assignments may include traveling between SPS sites within a 25‑mile radius of the home location.
Pay Range: $20 – $21 USD per hour. Final offer will depend on skills, experience, and other job‑related factors.
