Senior Administrative Assistant – Providence Portland Medical Center

Full Time – Day Schedule

Responsibilities

Provides professional administrative support to the Supervisor of Pastoral Care and the CPE Supervisor.

  • Takes initiative in coordinating department IS/Telecom/Administrative/HR/Special Event and Project Planning.
  • Acts as the department IS liaison – coordinates IS for department (initial access for new hires, additional access for staff, requests for changes to Star and Horizon, facilitates telecom for department – voicemail/pagers).
  • HR coordinator for department – coordinating new hire paperwork and timelines for orientation for interns, residents, and new employees.
  • Project and Event planning: analyzes, organizes, sets up, revises, and updates databases.
  • Aids the Director in analyzing and preparing the departmental budget.
  • Completes delegated projects and maintains compliance with hospital regulations, acting as department safety coordinator.
  • Maintains files and database of all members of the Department and collaborates with PPMC staff in facilitating chaplain visits, aid to in‑need patients and employees, and ongoing projects (e.g., prayer/memorial services).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Master's Degree.
  • Experience in a hospital environment.

Pay Range
