Administrative Assistant

Location:
Portland, OR
Salary: $25-$30/hr
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 20‑30 hours per week
- Provide administrative support to the Executive Chef and culinary team
- Manage calendars, appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements
- Maintain inventory records and coordinate supply ordering
- Handle emails, phone calls, correspondence, and administrative documentation
- Assist with expense tracking, budgeting support, and financial administration
- Coordinate meetings, special projects, and internal events
- Maintain accurate spreadsheets, reports, and organizational records
- Serve as a liaison between culinary operations and other departments
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative support experience, preferably within hospitality, events, or a fast‑paced service environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work both independently and collaboratively
- Professional demeanor with a proactive and customer‑service‑focused approach
- Position performs general office and administrative duties in a professional hospitality environment
- Requires prolonged sitting, computer work, and occasional walking throughout event and kitchen spaces
- Ability to lift and carry office supplies or materials up to 20 pounds occasionally
