Senior Administrative Assistant – Providence Portland Medical Center (Full-Time, Day Shift)

The Administrative Assistant III provides professional administrative support to the Supervisor of Pastoral Care and the CPE Supervisor. They take initiative in coordinating department IS/Telecom/Administrative/HR/Special Event and Project Planning. As the department IS liaison, they coordinate IS for the department, including initial access for new hires, additional access for staff, changes to Star and Horizon, and facilitate telecom for voicemail and pagers.

They serve as the HR coordinator, handling new hire paperwork and orientation timelines for interns, residents and new employees. Project and event planning includes analyzing, organizing, setting up, revising, and updating databases. They assist the Director in analyzing and preparing the departmental budget, complete delegated projects, and maintain expertise in compliance with hospital regulations, including department safety coordination. The role maintains files and a database of all department members and collaborates with PPMC staff to facilitate chaplain visits, aid to in‑need patients and employees, and ongoing projects such as prayer and memorial services.

Pay Range: $26.79 – $40.99 per hour. Base pay; additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
